A Yoruba Ibeji Figure with its jacket, Abakuta area, Nigeria
standing on a squarish base, the enlarged feet supporting the straight legs, the rectangular torse with enlarge penduling breast, the arms with enlarged pierced hands resting on the legs, the head with pointed chin, smiling mouth, T-shape nose, enlarge eyes and pierced typical ears, all set under a high incised complex coiffure, scarifications on the cheeks and the forehead; rich brown patina, the jacket with old beadwork forming triangular motives.
