
An attractive and finely painted early 19th century Paris porcelain Plaque signed and dated J.J.S. Duchesne, Pinxit. 1807, later mounted in a gilt composition and carved wood frame,
the rectangular plaque depicting a young boy with tousled blonde hair, clad in a white shirt and mauve and grey horizontal striped silk waistcoat stealing grapes in his handkerchief, a staked grape vine to the left foreground, a tree trunk and the vineyard to the background, signed and dated to the middle right hand side side, and inscribed in French to the bottom right hand corner, the rear with copper back panel with exposed central aperture numbered and indistinctly inscribed in pencil S, M674, KD-M12, the later gilt frame with pierced scroll and acanthus decoration,
