A Chinese doucai Shou medallion decorated Bowl, Daoguang mark and period,
well potted and of typical flaring form with a notched rim and a shallow foot, decorated with four circular medallions of stylised scrolling lotus and buddhistic symbols between a design of bats and tasselled double 'cash', the interior similarly decorated with a lotus and a bat, the base with a six character Daouguang seal mark, and of the period (1821-1850),
