Adolf Matura (Czech, 1921-79), Glass 'Head' vase by Libochovice glassworks, c1972, A pressed clear glass vase of cylindrical form representing a head, or face; the surface being frosted to accentuate the features, and having a cut, polished rim.
Notes: Despite being promoted a number of times in the Czech Glass Review, these head vases are scarce, and highly regarded by collectors of what is now referred to as 'Sklo Union'
