A large Orthodox icon mounted in a wood and glass case with a brass repousse mount. It portrays one of the most common subjects in iconography of Christ Almighty holding the New Testament in the His left hand and gesturing in the right.
Stylistically the painting is subtle without heavy outlines and Christ is portrayed with dark brown hair and blue eyes. There is also a brass dove on the outer frame.
