A Chinese blue and white and copper red decorated vase, 19th century, with a later wood stand

of compressed globular form with a short spreading foot and a widely flaring rim decorated in eighteenth century style in underglaze blue and copper red with three sprays of peach, lotus and lychee, the base with two concentric circles in underglaze blue.

Purchased by the vendor in Singapore in the 1960s.

Size:: Ht 12cm (vase); 14.8cm (vase and stand)
Condition:: Excellent condition with no restoration.
