A pair of Japanese patinated bronze and cloisonne Vases, late Meiji period (1868-1912),

of squat baluster form, the bodies with wide cloisonne decoration depicting figures in procession on a foliate scrolling turquoise ground  and a further narrow band to the necks between repetitive dense scrolling whorl borders, the shoulders with foliate motif.  'jewelled' cabochon  and foliate drop ring handles

In good condition with some wear and minor blemishes and damages and pitting to the enamel and scratches, minor denting and verdigris to the bronze bodies,
