Sotheby's will be holding the Furniture, Silver and Old Master Paintings sale in Paris on September 22nd.
The lots on offer come from the private collection of Madame Antenor Patino, who came from a family with a reputation for buying art and antiques.
One of the highlights of the auction is the range of silver up for grabs. The silver mostly comes from France, Germany, Russia and England.
Some of the pieces even belonged to royalty such as Catherine II of Russia and Tsarina Elizabeth I.
A spokesperson for Sotheby's said: "The outstanding taste that underscores the harmonious unity of works from these different countries can also be seen in more contemporary or exotic pieces, including some from South America."
A pair of Jacques-Charles Oudry paintings depicting hunting scenes in 18th century France is up for sale.
Oudry was born in 1686 in Paris and was known for his landscapes, paintings of animals and hunts, and later on for designing tapestries.
