A Fender Squier guitar signed by all four members of the Rolling Stones is to be put up for sale in a radio auction.
The sale will be hosted by Midwest Radio, with the proceeds going to the Gena Harety Haiti Fund, according to Mayo News.
While there have been a number of celebrity auctions set up to help the people of Haiti following the earthquake, this sale differs slightly in that it has been set up by civilian Gena Harety, a voluntary aid worker.
Businessman Noel Staunton, who donated the guitar, revealed his privilege in the fact that the instrument was being sold for such a worthwhile cause.
He told the news provider: "Gena is a neighbour of mine and I am happy to donate the guitar to raise funds for her work. She is an inspiration to us all."
Ms Harety volunteers for Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs, which had a number of its buildings destroyed during the devastating earthquake in January.
