A private collection of Royal Worcester Porcelain fetched a total of £362,850 at Christie's auction house.
The sale was held on April 20th in South Kensington and received lots of interest from private collectors.
A pair of two-handled vases and covers with a swan design by Charles Baldwyn, one dated 1900 and the other indistinct were sold for £39,650 by an Australian collector.
Emma Rainbird, specialist and head of the Christie's sale, said: "We are very pleased with the results which emphasis the strong market for single owner collections at Christie's south Kensington."
She added that a highlight was the bidding war between three people for a pot-pourri vase and cover painted with polar bears by Harry Davies. It was bought for £25,000.
Other lots included a canary covered two-handled vase and cover by Baldwyn which made £33,650 and a George Owen designed reticulated vase and cover which sold for £30,000.
The pieces were from the 20th century when Royal Worcester Porcelain enjoyed a revival. The porcelain makers produced new versions of old Georgian designs and from 1900 allowed its painters to develop their own style and sign their work.
