Christie's will be hosting a new contemporary art fair, entitled Multiplied, which will be held in the same week as the Frieze Art Fair in October.
The Frieze Art Fair takes place in Regent's Park London and it showcases the talent from more than 100 art galleries in the world.
Christie's will be hosting its own fair between October 15th and 18th and will provide an opportunity for upcoming talents in the contemporary art field to showcase their work.
Entry to the fair is free and a range of artists will be able to sell their pieces at a reasonable price while the auction house promises it will not take any percentage.
Over 30 art galleries have been invited to attend and showcase the skills of the artists that they represent.
Established artists such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst will be displaying their artwork alongside emerging talents and possibly the 'next big thing'.
Richard Lloyd, international head of Christie's print department, came up with the idea for the fair after attending the Edition's and Artist's Book Fair in the US last year.
He said: "Everyone benefits from a vibrant arts scene, and giving galleries an opportunity to promote themselves and their artists is our way of putting something back."
