Collectible car belonging to Minogue sisters up for grabs
Bonhams will be auctioning the vehicle on July 2nd as part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed sale, with some of the proceeds being donated to charity.The black 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 was bought new by Dannii Minogue and then passed onto her elder sister. They have been the only two owners.
It is expected to sell for between £8,000 and £12,000 as it is in prime condition, with only 19,000 miles on the clock.
James Knight, head of Bonhams motoring department, said: "We are delighted to have been appointed by the Minogue family to offer the Mercedes-Benz. It has all the right ingredients - good colour, low mileage and a fantastic provenance.
"Kylie and Dannii have a tremendous and far-reaching fan base and I can see it appealing to many people who want the same experience that they both shared."
Kylie became famous after appearing in the Australian soap Neighbours in the mid-1980s and is now an international pop star.
